PRESS: Hevel wants to auction 717.4 MWh of solar power
MOSCOW, Aug 4 (PRIME) -- Avalar Solar Technology, affiliate of Russian solar power company Hevel, wants to sell 717,400 megawatts per hour (MWh) of electric power at an open auction, business daily Kommersant reported on Wednesday citing the documents.
The company will accept bids from Monday until Friday. The minimum premium amounts to 80 rubles per MWh, which is about 5% of the market price. The company with the highest bid will win the auction.
Solar energy sales in Russia amounted to about 200,000 MWh in 2020 and to 263,000 MWh in January–July, as reported by market regulator Sovet Rynka (Market Council).
